About Us

The PAIR Center for Couples Counseling is a minority-owned private practice located in Fayetteville, NC. Here at PAIR, our mission is to help couples rediscover their passion and reignite the intimacy in their relationship, educate couples on how to align themselves on the same page through the use of psychoeducation and teaching evidence-based tools and relational skills and encourage couples to fully invest in one another so that they can rebuild a healthier, long-lasting relationship. We do this through the use of the Gottman Method, an evidence-based treatment model that is backed by decades of clinical research. We work with couples in all stages of their relationship, including premarital and couples who are considering divorce. Although our passion is working with couples, we also provide trauma-informed, culturally inclusive, individual counseling to adolescents and adults from diverse populations.

See what our previous students have to say about our program:

"Cynara provided a very supportive and encouraging learning environment. She was very involved in my growth as a developing counselor. She provided thoughtful feedback and encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone. Cynara was very knowledgeable and provided access to a number of therapeutic resources. I gained a lot from working at PAIR, not just as a counselor but from the perspective of a private practice owner as well".
